Adobe Systems Legacy Adobe Spark Video Video Editing Content Management n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Ensemble Scolaire Charles de Foucauld deployed Adobe Spark Video as part of a classroom multimedia toolkit, Apps Category . The deployment was led by an associate professor of SVT who used the application across a terminal SVT specialty class, a sixth grade digital class at Saint-Jean college and high school, and a third grade class at Ozanam college, all constituent sites of the Ensemble Charles de Foucauld school network. Adobe Spark Video was used for student-generated multimedia storytelling and classroom video assignments, coordinated with other creative apps that are part of the classroom stack such as iWork Pages, Numbers and Keynote, Canva, Showme, SimpleMind+, thinklink, Genial.ly and Padlet. The narrative workflow relied on device-based capture, in-app sequencing and voiceover features typical for Adobe Spark Video, enabling pupils to assemble short multimedia projects and export deliverables for teacher review. Operational integration was device-centric, leveraging a one-to-one iPad model at Saint-Jean where each student had an assigned iPad, and a shared cart of 16 iPads at Ozanam with managed Apple ID accounts. The managed Apple ID and iCloud recovery mechanism allowed pupils to continue work on a home computer and ensured continuity of student files across device contexts. Governance and rollout were teacher-led at the classroom level, with configuration and usage patterns defined by the SVT teacher to support assignment workflows and cross-application content exchange within the school’s existing iPad ecosystem.
