In 2013, Entain Group implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its core ERP Financial system. The deployment positioned Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to centralize financial management and to interface with the existing JDE Edwards ERP footprint as part of a unified application topology.
The program delivered several application and infrastructure workstreams, including division and migration of a substantial electronic mail Archive and migration of Office Communicator 2007 to Lync 2010 to align collaboration platforms with the ERP initiative. The effort also encompassed division, upgrade and redeployment of over 200 applications, and migration of all data accessed through these applications into the new operational environment. Configuration and functional alignment emphasized standard ERP Financial workflows such as general ledger control, accounts payable orchestration and accounts receivable processing consistent with the ERP Financial category.
Integration work linked Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to the broader JDE Edwards ERP estate and to messaging and collaboration systems, requiring coordinated cutovers and data reconciliation across application boundaries. Rollout governance applied division-level sequencing, application redeployment windows and data migration controls, establishing IT and finance as primary operational owners for ongoing support and process stewardship.

In 2018 Entain Group implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management as part of a global Oracle HCM Cloud deployment serving circa 25,000 end users. The implementation targeted the Absence and Leave Management category and was delivered alongside core HCM, Learn, and Payroll modules to unify employee time off, learning records, and payroll inputs under a single cloud platform.
The program covered functional, technical, data migration, integrations, training, and testing workstreams. Configuration work focused on standard absence and leave capabilities including entitlement and accrual rules, request and approval workflows, self service for employees and managers, and integrated absence reporting, all configured within Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management to align with company policies.
Integrations were executed as part of the implementation to ensure absence data fed downstream into payroll and learning record processes and to synchronize with time keeping and HR data sources. The deployment used a centralized Oracle HCM Cloud architecture with configuration to support local absence rules and global master data, enabling consistent absence and leave management across jurisdictions.
Program governance included multi workstream coordination for functional design, technical build, data migration validation, end to end testing, and training rollout across HR and payroll teams. The engagement was described as very complex, requiring integrated testing cycles and coordinated training and cutover activities to align HCM, Absence, Learn, and Payroll operations across the global user base.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Business Process Management | Business Process Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
Entain Group implemented Oracle Business Process Management in 2015 to orchestrate finance and operational workflows. The deployment leveraged Business Process Management capabilities to formalize process modeling, workflow orchestration, and approval routing across finance and adjacent operational teams.
Oracle Business Process Management was configured to support process modeling, automated workflow routing, role based approvals, exception handling, and document driven orchestration tied to financial reporting processes. Configuration emphasized reusable process assets and orchestration of multi-step finance tasks that interacted with the company reporting practices.
The implementation operated alongside Oracle Business Intelligence Discoverer 10g, which Entain used for managing and preparing financial reports, and supported operational teams familiar with Iovation and BVerified systems. Operational scope centered on finance and extended to compliance and fraud prevention functions where knowledge of Iovation and BVerified informed process design.
Governance practices established process ownership, structured change control for process definitions, and standardized exception workflows to align approvals with finance control objectives. Rollout focused on embedding formal workflow orchestration and process governance into existing financial reporting cycles rather than on replacing specific prior systems.
