In 2016 enX Group implemented Kyriba Treasury to establish a centralized Treasury Management capability within group finance. The deployment focused on driving regular cashbook processing, treasury account transfers, and standardized treasury reporting as part of month-end and consolidation workflows.
Kyriba Treasury was configured to support cash positioning and cash forecasting, to generate Kyriba reports processing for finance consumption, and to orchestrate payment requisition and payment execution workflows. Functional use included monthly cashbook processing, inter-company journal processing for subsidiaries and associate companies, and preparation of cash flow forecasts that fed into monthly management accounts and consolidated accounts.
Operational integrations and coverage tied Kyriba outputs into existing financial consolidation and payments activities, explicitly supporting Hyperion consolidations and the capturing of payments on the CATS system. The system was used by the group accounting and treasury teams to produce monthly management accounts, consolidated statements, and inputs for board packs and shareholder reporting.
Governance and process structure centered on recurring monthly cycles, including reconciliations, creditor and intercompany invoicing preparation, and formalized payment requisition capture prior to execution. Kyriba Treasury therefore acted as the central Treasury Management platform supporting routine treasury operations, reporting, and intercompany settlement controls across enX Group finance.

Operational scope covers company-wide email for enX Group staff in South Africa, with governance exercised through a centralized administrative console and role-based policy management. The implementation supports standard SEG workflows for incident handling, quarantine review, and mail flow continuity during service interruptions.
