| Navan (formerly TripActions) | Legacy | Navan Travel (ex TripActions Lemonade) | Travel Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Epicor implemented Navan Travel (ex TripActions Lemonade) as its Travel Management solution, executing a global rollout across all Epicor offices in under 60 days while bringing Navan Expense live in less than two weeks. The deployment delivered an end-to-end Travel Management platform that consolidated travel booking, expense reporting, and corporate card issuance into a single access point for employees worldwide.
The implementation configured core modules for travel booking of hotels, flights, and cars, Navan Expense for automated expense capture and reporting, and Navan corporate Cards for payments and reconciliation. Epicor translated written policy into Navan’s dynamic admin interface, enabling real-time policy updates and controls, and enabled mobile booking, in-product chat, and self-service reservation management for end users.
Operational coverage spanned procurement, finance, travel managers, executive assistants, and all employee travelers, with Navan-hosted training, short explainer videos, user guides, and weekly feedback meetings to accelerate adoption. The global cutover was performed with a Navan representative present to centralize onboarding and reduce the demand on Epicor staff for regional training support.
Governance centered on proactive, real-time policy enforcement and transaction visibility, which allowed Epicor finance to distribute Navan cards with confidence. Outcomes reported by Epicor include 66% time savings on expense reporting, booking time reduced to one third, higher user satisfaction, improved visibility and control, increased adoption and productivity, and reduced out-of-policy spend.
