In 2015, Equiti Capital implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment targeted Sun Version 6 and the Q&A reporting engine and was rolled out to eight legal entities as part of a global finance systems program.
Configuration and functional work centered on financial close workflows and management information reporting, with Q&A used to design and write management reports. The implementation included the automation of the month end management information pack through Q&A report development, and configuration of modules supporting financial consolidation and period end reporting.
Operational scope covered global finance teams across the eight entities, with comprehensive training delivered to finance staff on Sun and Q&A to embed operational skills. The project explicitly addressed CMAR reporting requirements, CASS Governance, and the CASS Resolution Pack, and it included review and automation of the daily client money calculation and process, aligning system controls with regulatory and operational reporting needs.
Governance and rollout work combined system configuration, report development, and staff enablement to operationalize controls and recurring processes in Infor SunSystems. The deployment of Infor SunSystems and Q&A established a standardized platform for financial reporting, CASS-related governance workflows, and automated month end MI production across Equiti Capital’s global finance function.
