In 2010 Escondido Resources implemented IFS iLandMan, formerly P2 iLandMan, to centralize lease and land administration under an Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP footprint. The implementation supported the company headquarters in Houston, TX and was operated within a 40 employee environment to manage core land and accounting workflows.
The deployment focused on lease setup and administration, joint operating agreement and contract management, title opinion analysis and ownership documentation, division of interest setup, and land obligation reporting. IFS iLandMan provided functional capabilities for rental and obligation payment processing, maintenance and upkeep of lease records, lease interpretation to validate payment schedules, and management of well proposals and AFE election workflows.
Operational coverage included the Lease and Land Analyst function and Office Manager responsibilities, with day to day use across land administration and coordination with accounting. The Office Manager provisioned user access, workstations and application accounts, maintained network and software updates, and provided end user orientation and training for IFS iLandMan.
Governance was embedded in role level processes, with the Lease and Land Analyst responsible for title review, DOI setup and ownership discrepancy resolution, and the Office Manager responsible for system maintenance and workflow handoffs to accounting for payments and deck preparation. System use emphasized structured land obligation reports and documented workflows for payments and AFE support, aligning Escondido Resources, IFS iLandMan, Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP and core land and accounting business functions.
