In 2019 Espirit Toyota implemented Chargebee numberz as an AR Automation solution. The deployment centralized accounts receivable and collections activities for the India-based automotive retailer sized at roughly 300 employees and 20 million revenue, using the Chargebee numberz platform as the primary AR Automation system.
Chargebee numberz was configured to deliver customized reminders and followups, and to operate as an AR CRM that consolidates case notes, contact history, and follow up sequences for collections teams. Key functional capabilities implemented include scheduled and templated reminder workflows, promise to pay capture and tracking, payment advice capture for automated reconciliation, and a client portal that provides customers visibility and a mechanism for recording payments.
Operational integrations focused on automated ERP updates for bookkeeping, enabling entries originating in Chargebee numberz to flow into the company accounting system for ledger maintenance and reconciliation. The platform was used by finance, collections, and customer service teams to coordinate activity on a single system, with role based access controlling who can record payment advice, commit promise to pay terms, and post reconciliation notes.
Governance and process changes formalized the promise to pay workflow and the reconciliation handoff, standardizing follow up templates and the recording of payment advice in the AR CRM. Rollout emphasized single platform coordination, capturing payment commitments for timely follow ups, and ensuring the client portal served as an auditable record for customer payments and communications.
