Epicor Legacy Epicor ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, ETEL Limited implemented Epicor ERP. Epicor ERP was deployed as an ERP Financial system to unify manufacturing and finance functions and provide a single system of record for the company. The implementation covered core manufacturing and financial management modules. On the manufacturing side ETEL configured job management, job scheduling, materials requirement planning MRP, materials purchasing and shipping to manage shop floor control and material flows. On the financial side ETEL implemented Epicor ERP general ledger, fixed assets, cash management, and currency management to handle significant cross‑border transaction volumes between New Zealand and Australia. Epicor XL Connect was integrated to provide secured, real‑time access to Epicor data from Microsoft Excel and to streamline board and financial reporting. Operational coverage included engineering, production planning, materials management and finance, enabling customer service teams to respond with accurate job status information because production stages and inventory data are visible within the system. Governance and rollout were staged to stabilize core processes before expanding functionality, with a deliberate one year period planned to bed down processes and correct configurations prior to adding additional modules. Outcomes reported by ETEL include a single source of truth for inventory and production records, materially improved visibility across the production cycle, and accelerated financial close using Epicor XL Connect which reduced accounts production from seven working days to two working days.

Asure Software Legacy Asure Time Tracking (formerly ADI Time) Time and Attendance HCM n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, ETEL Limited implemented Asure Time Tracking (formerly ADI Time). Asure Time Tracking was deployed as a Time and Attendance solution to capture employee time, overtime and leave for New Zealand’s largest transformer manufacturer, supporting production scheduling and workforce timekeeping across ETEL’s manufacturing operations. The implementation focused on core Time and Attendance capabilities, including electronic timesheets, overtime capture, leave request workflows and supervisor approval routing. ETEL used Asure Time Tracking to consolidate timesheet review processes, and supervisors explicitly reviewed and approved ADI timesheets, overtime and leave requests as part of daily operational control. Operational scope centered on plant level production lines and line supervision, with supervisory teams responsible for day to day approvals and ensuring on time delivery of finished product to downstream lines. The deployment supported HR and payroll adjacent functions by standardizing time capture for a workforce of about 215 employees and integrating time data into ETEL’s production oversight practices. Governance and process changes emphasized supervisor led approval workflows and embedding time capture into shop floor routines, reinforcing accountability for corrective actions and KPI monitoring. ETEL’s supervisory leadership reviewed time records as an operational control, aligning Asure Time Tracking usage with existing production targets, SIC checks and the company’s continuous improvement processes.

Epicor Legacy Epicor XL Connect Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, ETEL Limited implemented Epicor XL Connect as part of its Epicor ERP deployment. Epicor XL Connect, categorized as Analytics and BI, provided secure real-time access from Microsoft Excel to Epicor data to centralize reporting for finance and operations at the New Zealand manufacturer. The deployment was centered on Epicor ERP modules for manufacturing and financial management, including job management, job scheduling, MRP materials requirement planning, materials purchasing and shipping, general ledger, fixed assets, cash management, and currency management. Epicor XL Connect was configured to extract and refresh general ledger and board reporting datasets in Excel, enabling cell-level queries against live ERP data and reducing reliance on manual spreadsheet extracts. Operational coverage included finance, engineering, production planning, and executive reporting across ETEL Limited, which serves customers in New Zealand and Australia with exports exceeding half of output. The integration of Epicor XL Connect with Microsoft Excel created a single depository for transactional and inventory records, improving visibility into the production cycle and allowing staff across departments to view the same source of truth. Governance and rollout were phased, ETEL deliberately implemented core ERP functionality first and planned a year to stabilize processes before expanding functionality. Reported outcomes explicitly included faster financial close and reporting, with accounts production time reduced from seven working days to two working days after adopting Epicor XL Connect, and materially improved production visibility via the Epicor MRP solution.
