In 2021 Euromedic completed a warehouse reorganisation that concluded with deployment of Szeged Pharmalog WMS to optimise pharmaceutical wholesale warehousing in Budapest and to speed up picking. The project is documented by the vendor as a Hungary reference for warehouse and logistics and the deployment followed the Spring 2021 reconfiguration of storage and picking zones.
Szeged Pharmalog WMS was configured to address core Warehouse Management workflows, with emphasis on picking optimization and inventory control for pharmaceutical goods. The implementation aligned the application to category-aligned functions including directed picking, location and slotting adjustments, and batch and expiry-aware inventory handling consistent with pharmaceutical wholesale requirements.
Operationally the Szeged Pharmalog WMS rollout focused on the Budapest distribution site and the wholesale warehousing function, impacting warehouse operations and logistics execution. The deployment supported order fulfillment and day to day warehouse processing, and was coordinated with the physical reorganisation to accelerate picking cycles.
Governance around the rollout followed the reorganisation timeline, with process standardization and system configuration completed as part of the Spring 2021 cutover. According to the vendor reference the Szeged Pharmalog WMS deployment resulted in optimized warehousing processes and faster picking for Euromedic.
