Governance assigned the Assistant Director of Finance as the primary operational owner, responsible for exception handling, serving as liaison with BirchStreet Customer Support, driving system efficiencies and supervising monthly reconciliations and month end close activities. Training, compliance monitoring and ongoing process refinement were embedded into A/P operations to standardize workflows, enforce internal controls and maintain accurate financial reporting.
