| Kinaxis | Legacy | Kinaxis Maestro (formerly known as RapidResponse)️ | Supply Chain Management | SCM | Aeonvis | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023 F.I.S. Fabbrica Italiana Sintetici implemented Kinaxis Maestro formerly known as RapidResponse to enable concurrent planning across its supply chain, positioning the project squarely within Supply Chain Management. F.I.S. is a European manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients with three production plants, approximately 1750 employees, and headquarters in Montecchio Maggiore, Vicenza, Italy, and the initiative responds to a stated need for a more agile and resilient supply chain capable of predictively coping with changing socioeconomic conditions.
The Kinaxis Maestro deployment focuses on concurrent planning capabilities typical of advanced supply chain platforms, including scenario simulation, demand and supply balancing, orchestrated sales and operations planning, and enhanced inventory visibility and what-if analysis for planning decisions. Configuration workstreams emphasize data model harmonization, planning logic and rule configuration, and the establishment of planning cycles to support operational and tactical decision making across manufacturing and supply chain teams.
Aeonvis served as the system integrator for analysis, solution identification and the implementation project definition phases, and will support user training and adoption. Implementation scope includes central supply chain functions and the three production plants, with project activities organized around configuration, data alignment, user onboarding and operational rollout across procurement, production planning and distribution planning functions.
Governance was structured to enable collaborative planning and cross functional decision workflow, with Aeonvis supporting change management and training to accelerate adoption of Kinaxis Maestro. The program aims to create a more agile and resilient supply chain as stated by F.I.S., and it aligns with Kinaxis continued expansion in European markets such as Automotive, Aerospace and Life Science.
