In 2013, Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco implemented Coupa Invoice as part of its AP Automation capabilities. The initial deployment emphasized electronic invoice processing and procurement control workflows to support accounts payable operations within the bank. Between March 2015 and April 2016 the organization executed a reimplementation covering Coupa Procurement, Coupa Invoicing and Coupa Expense modules, with a System Administrator and subject matter expert managing configuration and rollout. Governance and procurement process responsibilities were aligned to bank and IS purchasing policies and legal contract guidelines, including execution of RFQ processes, financial analysis of total cost of ownership, processing of contracts and purchase orders, and coordination of delivery. System administration and SME ownership established ongoing operational governance and user support during the rollout of Coupa Invoice and related modules.
