In 2017, Federal Manufacturing implemented Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) as its Manufacturing ERP and adopted SourceDay to address opaque purchase order workflows and improve supplier collaboration. Federal Manufacturing operated with hundreds of purchase orders daily, some containing up to 400 parts, and the procurement team required a solution that provided transparent tracking of part arrivals and order status.
The deployment focused on procurement and order management workflows, with SourceDay providing buyer-facing order update capabilities, pricing request workflows, automated supplier notifications, and a centralized dashboard showing open POs and late line items. Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) remained the core Manufacturing ERP for transactional records while SourceDay introduced supplier collaboration features, daily recap emails to suppliers, and dynamic scorecarding to monitor supplier performance.
Operational coverage centered on the procurement organization, buyers and the supplier base, enabling continuous collaboration on order changes and real time visibility into acknowledgements and shipments. Buyers were able to use SourceDay to request updates and send notifications to suppliers, and suppliers accessed scorecards 24 7 to monitor responsiveness and on time delivery metrics as defined by Federal buyers.

Federal reported improved supplier on time delivery and a strengthened ability to meet customer commitments after adopting SourceDay alongside Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline), with suppliers proactively adjusting performance based on visible scorecard feedback.
