Oracle Legacy Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Financial ERP n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Federal Realty Investment Trust implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial application to standardize property accounting workflows and unify financial transaction processing. The deployment focused on the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne financial suite with the property accounting team as the primary operational scope. Work during the implementation concentrated on property accounting testing and data validation, including configuration of subledger mappings, chart of accounts alignment, and core financial modules such as general ledger, accounts payable, and fixed assets consistent with ERP Financial capabilities. The team developed and executed structured test procedures for transaction flows, month end close processes, and reconciliation routines to validate transactional integrity. Operational coverage extended across the entire property accounting team and adjacent finance functions responsible for asset accounting and financial close activities. Project activities included authoring test scripts, executing data validation scenarios, coordinating defect tracking, and validating remediation prior to acceptance. Governance artifacts produced for the project included formal test plans, acceptance criteria, and sign off procedures for property accounting deliverables. As an explicit outcome of this work, the implementation performance was recognized with Q2 2019's Making the Difference Accountability Award for contributions to the JDE implementation project.
