In 2019, Fiberta Lithuania implemented Odoo Rental as its Rental Management System. The Vilnius based distributor uses Odoo Rental to manage laptop rentals, eCommerce subscriptions, and automated invoicing, operating at scale with more than 2,000 device rentals reported in Odoo community materials.
The deployment centers on Odoo Rental module capabilities for rental contract lifecycle management, reservation scheduling, availability tracking, and billing automation. Configuration included contract templates, subscription billing rules, and inventory linkage to device serials to support device turnover and returns.
Odoo Rental was implemented inside the broader Odoo platform, integrating with Odoo eCommerce subscription workflows and automated invoicing and accounting flows to unify order to cash. Operational coverage focused on sales, operations, and finance activities in Lithuania, with user workflows for reservations, contract amendments, returns, and recurring billing.
The rollout addressed the need to move beyond manual spreadsheets after outgrowing Excel based processes and established governance for contract approval and recurring billing schedules. The implementation improved contract management and billing processes in Lithuania through standardized contract templates and automated invoice generation.
