In 2020, First Transit implemented Infor CloudSuite EAM Asset Performance to support a corporate Paperless Shop initiative focused on digitizing maintenance workflows. The deployment positioned Infor CloudSuite EAM Asset Performance as the Asset Performance Management application for the maintenance systems group, with an emphasis on delivering technicians timely access to work order information and point of service job data.
Configuration emphasized mobile access to asset records and work order management so technicians could receive assignments, record inspections, and capture service actions directly on devices. Standard Asset Performance Management capabilities such as preventive maintenance scheduling, inspection capture, and inventory workflow alignment were configured to better support planning and forecasting activities.
Operational coverage centered on the maintenance systems department, shifting paper based work order handoffs toward electronic capture and shared records so clerks and field technicians accessed the same data in near real time. The implementation tied mobile clients to a central Infor CloudSuite EAM Asset Performance backend and centralized asset condition data to reduce manual transcription and streamline parts and labor tracking.
Governance and process change under the Paperless Shop program enforced electronic work authorization and data quality controls, and restructured roles to reduce paper handling and elevate exception management. The initiative was explicitly intended to ensure technicians had everything they needed at the point of service and to support improved planning and forecasting.

In 2016, First Transit implemented Microsoft 365 for Collaboration. First Transit is using Microsoft 365 on their website, confirming adoption of Microsoft 365 as a core Collaboration platform for internal communications and document collaboration.
Microsoft 365 delivers cloud-hosted Collaboration capabilities that include email, intranet, file synchronization, and real-time meetings. Typical components associated with Microsoft 365 include Exchange Online for messaging, SharePoint Online for intranet and content management, Microsoft Teams for meetings and persistent chat, and OneDrive for Business for personal file sync, mapping directly to Collaboration functional workflows such as messaging, document collaboration, content management, and conferencing.
As a cloud SaaS Collaboration implementation, Microsoft 365 operates under a centralized tenant and identity model and exposes administrative controls for user provisioning, access management, and compliance configuration. These platform-level controls support governance patterns used to manage information lifecycle, role based access, and corporate collaboration policies across operational teams.
From an operational perspective, Microsoft 365 for Collaboration provides a unified platform that aligns company wide employee collaboration, knowledge sharing, and internal communications capabilities. The implementation narrative links First Transit Microsoft 365 Collaboration to standard Collaboration category functions and governance constructs common to enterprise rollouts.
