| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics GP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, FirstOnSite Restoration implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its core finance application, deploying the system as an ERP Financial backbone for centralized financial reporting and transaction processing. Microsoft Dynamics GP was used as the primary database platform to support month end close and consolidation processes across eight legal entities, including one U.S based entity.
The deployment encompassed standard financial modules and controls, notably General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, fixed asset tracking, bank reconciliations, intercompany accounting, budget preparation and P&L reporting. A new P&L Reporting and Budget Template was created and embedded into Microsoft Dynamics GP driven workflows to provide the detailed transactional information required for annual budgets and monthly variance analysis.
Operational coverage tied the application directly to a finance team of eight reporting to the CFO, with responsibilities to manage month end close and consolidation for eight entities, perform P&L reviews of actuals versus budget for five entities, and reconcile approximately 30 intercompany transaction accounts on a monthly cadence. The team used Microsoft Dynamics GP to compile regional Operations Monthly Packages, lead P&L review meetings with operational leaders, and produce the schedules and supporting documentation required for audit compliance.
Governance processes were formalized within the Microsoft Dynamics GP environment, including review and posting of month end journal entries with documented backup, review of AP and AR transaction coding with staff coaching, maintenance of the General Ledger chart of accounts, approval workflows for government tax and employment remittances, and support for corporate tax return preparation. Internal and external audit engagements were managed through the system produced schedules and reconciliations, aligning operational accounting controls with the ERP Financial deployment.

| Verisk Analytics | Legacy | Verisk Xactimate | Insurance Claims Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, FirstOnSite Restoration implemented Verisk Xactimate to standardize estimating and claims workflows. The Verisk Xactimate application was provisioned across the Construction Department and field supervisory roles as the primary Insurance Claims Management platform for damage assessment and estimate creation.
The implementation concentrated on core estimating capabilities typical of Verisk Xactimate, including sketching and floor plan capture, line-item pricing and assemblies, and estimate report generation for reconstruction work. Configuration emphasized role-based templates and estimate assemblies tailored to restoration use cases such as water, fire, mould, wind and vandalism damage, supporting Site Supervisors who require Xactimate knowledge as an essential skill.
Xactimate was used alongside Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for documentation, invoicing preparation and customer communications, enabling handoffs between field crews and office-based staff. Operational coverage included site supervisors, construction crews, project scheduling teams and basic accounting functions related to invoicing and billing, aligning estimating inputs with reconstruction scheduling and customer-facing reports.
Governance focused on process standardization for estimate creation and approval workflows, training for supervisors and foremen, and embedding construction code and trade requirements into estimating practice to maintain compliance with building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical standards. The Verisk Xactimate deployment established a consistent Insurance Claims Management workflow between field operations and finance without referencing prior system names.
