In 2022, Flooring Xtra implemented Citation HR (ex Assured HR) to outsource HR support and deploy Citation’s HR software across its Timaru and Oamaru operations. Citation HR (ex Assured HR) was provisioned as a Core HR solution to centralise employee records, standardise policy documents and provide legally compliant template management for the retailer.
The implementation focused on centralisation of personnel data and process standardisation, with functional capabilities for employee record management, policy and template libraries, and structured performance review workflows. The deployment combined the Citation HR software with a 24/7 Advice Line to deliver ongoing HR support and advice alongside the Core HR application.
Governance changes included moving HR advisory responsibility to Citation and consolidating records and templates under a single system accessible to HR and frontline managers in Timaru and Oamaru. Outcomes reported by the customer included improved record keeping, simplified performance reviews and stronger compliance with New Zealand employment law, reflecting tighter operational controls and externally supported HR governance.
