In 2019, Flying Pony implemented Freeway Time Recorder to capture attendance across multiple employment types A and B, addressing HR and time tracking needs for a small Japanese vocational support provider. The deployment targeted staff and service users and was scoped as a Time and Attendance solution to standardize clocking and record keeping for varied work arrangements. Freeway Time Recorder was configured to record attendance events and tag entries by employment type, allowing HR to view consolidated time records for staffing and service delivery. The implementation emphasized ease of use and a low cost profile to accommodate the organization size and to support front line service users as well as internal staff in routine time capture workflows. Operationally the implementation fed time data into payroll processing, Flying Pony contracted Freeway Payroll which created an explicit payroll integration to simplify payroll preparation. Governance and operational ownership resided with HR and service administration teams, who managed user enrollment and time record validation before payroll handoff.
