PipelineSuite Legacy PipelineSuite Construction Bidding ERP Services and Operations n/a 2012 2012 In 2012, FMS Construction deployed PipelineSuite for Construction Bidding as a centralized platform to manage bid invitations and preconstruction cost tracking. The deployment covered project-level bidding activities and division-level estimating workflows within the company, supporting coordination among field and office teams for a 55 person contractor based in the United States. PipelineSuite was configured to enforce accurate timekeeping and cost tracking alongside bid management. The implementation included use of Pipeline ITB Software to issue and track invitations, and a consolidated contact management capability that maintained more than 4000 client and vendor records. Operational configuration supported high-volume subcontractor outreach, the system managed invitations to as many as 1200 subcontractors per project and tracked responses through the bidding lifecycle. Functional capabilities emphasized invitation-to-bid orchestration, contact database maintenance, time capture for project cost allocation, and collaboration workflows for estimating and project controls. Governance centered on standardized bid invitation processes and centralized contact updates to improve team cooperation during preconstruction and procurement activities. The program explicitly ensured accurate timekeeping and cost tracking and contributed to an increase in profit for the division, while maintaining project-level visibility into subcontractor engagement and vendor relationships.
