In 2015, Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa deployed Bizimply Workforce Management, a Time and Attendance application. The implementation designated Bizimply Workforce Management as the primary time capture and rostering system across the resort, covering golf operations, spa, food and beverage, and front of house functions for the 220 employee property.
Configuration work focused on standard Time and Attendance and rostering capabilities, together with payroll export workflows. Bizimply Workforce Management was set up to manage clocking, timesheet approvals, exception handling, and roster publishing, aligned to existing payroll processing patterns already identified in-house.
The implementation was integrated into the resort environment alongside systems used by finance and operations, including SAGE Line 50 for accounting, Oracle and Micros for operational data, Concept for club membership management, and Excel for bespoke reporting. Data flows were configured to align attendance and payroll records with management reporting streams, and to support weekly sales and payroll reporting used by the general manager and finance team.
Governance and process changes accompanied the rollout, with process charts and departmental instructions issued to managers, establishment of manager review meetings, and introduction of KPIs for finance and operational control. Time and attendance outputs from Bizimply Workforce Management were incorporated into existing reconciliations, deferred income schedules, balance sheet controls, and the suite of monthly management accounts and board reporting maintained by the finance function.
