Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, Fortress Building Products implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its ERP Financial application. The deployment established a financial and inventory backbone to support manufacturing and distribution operations at the Garland, TX site. Microsoft Dynamics GP was configured to manage core financial ledgers and SKU-level inventory valuation, aligning accounting transactions with inventory planning activities. Configuration emphasized inventory controls and record reconciliation to support an external planning cadence used by the inventory planner, and the ERP Financial deployment was tuned to exchange master SKU and transactional inventory data with planning tools. The Microsoft Dynamics GP environment is integrated with SalesPad for order management workflows and with NetStock IBP DemandWorks as the planning tool used for replenishment and inventory projections. Operational coverage included inventory planning for three product categories comprising more than 800 SKUs, with inventory levels reviewed twice weekly, and support across Wholesale, Retail, and eCommerce sales channels. Governance and process changes centered on cross functional SIOP teams, with the inventory planner partnering with internal teams to maintain correct stock levels and to operationalize the twice weekly review cadence. The rollout emphasized coordinated order to cash and planning workflows between Microsoft Dynamics GP, SalesPad, and NetStock IBP DemandWorks to sustain synchronized planning and financial records.

Deposco Legacy Deposco Bright Warehouse Warehouse Management SCM n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Fortress Building Products implemented Deposco Bright Warehouse, deploying a Warehouse Management application to address manual fulfillment and inventory control practices. The deployment targeted a paper-based picking process that relied on printed order slips and lacked barcode scanning, creating inventory count and order accuracy risks that constrained growth. Deposco Bright Warehouse introduced a paperless, fully integrated fulfillment workflow, enabling automated order picking and packing alongside barcode scanning for pick, pack and cycle counting. Functional capabilities implemented include order fulfillment orchestration, barcode-driven inventory control, real-time inventory visibility and shipment staging with order stage tracking. Scanning methods and barcode integration were configured to reduce manual counting and human error in warehouse transactions. The implementation integrated with Fortress Building Products' ERP, sales channels and manufacturing system to provide one accurate, real-time view of inventory across fulfillment and accounting systems. Operational coverage focused on warehouse floor operations, fulfillment processes, shipping notifications and inventory count workflows that span manufacturing output to customer shipments. The integrated system enabled stage-level order visibility to support earlier customer notifications and tighter inventory reconciliation. Deployment and governance included onsite process reviews and regular remote sessions to align operational workflows and configure picking and scanning rules. Governance changes shifted work from sequential paper slip handling to scanned, transaction-based workflows, and established inventory control procedures and shipment notification processes to standardize fulfillment operations. Configuration templates and operational playbooks were used to support ongoing warehouse expansion and new product line onboarding. Fortress reported 99.98% order accuracy and a 150% increase in top-line revenue since implementation as documented in the Deposco customer success story. Deposco Bright Warehouse now functions as the Warehouse Management platform for Fortress Building Products, supporting fulfillment, inventory control and operational scaling.
