| Mitratech | Legacy | Mitratech Quovant | Legal Practice Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019 Freeman Mathis & Gary implemented Mitratech Quovant as its Legal Practice Management platform, deploying the application to support firm accounts receivable and billing workflows from April 2019 to March 2021. The deployment targeted daily AR operations and cash management across the firm's practice groups and corporate finance team. Mitratech Quovant was configured to manage daily cash receipting of payments, routine write offs and reversals, application of retainer balances, and account reconciliation for funds received into multiple bank accounts. Operational workstreams executed inside Mitratech Quovant included editing ledes files, clearing credits on client accounts, applying unallocated cash, and maintaining an appeals tracking dataset to log invoices and associated deductions. The AR and appeals work interacted with external e billing and invoice platforms explicitly referenced in operational notes, including BillBlast, Serengeti, Legalx, Collaborati, Tymetrix, Legal Exchange, and LSS, with specific appeals responsibility for carriers CNA and Geico. The AR function also coordinated with new SAP application functions, reflecting handoffs between Mitratech Quovant driven receivables activity and the firm accounting environment. Project governance emphasized centralized appeals tracking and role level ownership within accounts receivable, the creation of a firm wide appeals spreadsheet used by the AR team, and peer training during transitions of AR sites. Training included upskilling peers and the AR manager to operate Mitratech Quovant driven workflows and sustain the reconciliations, appeals, and cash application processes. | |
