In 2023 Fukuoka Financial Group implemented SEI QuickSolution from Sumitomo Electric Information Systems, deploying an Application, Web and Enterprise Search platform to enable secure, access controlled cross document search and management across multiple banks in the group in Japan. The deployment targeted finance and document management functions, centralizing search and retrieval across bank file servers and attachment repositories.
SEI QuickSolution was configured to index document metadata, full text, and embedded attachments including ZIP files, and to surface cross document relationships and search relevance for finance workflows. The implementation integrated with 楽々WorkflowII for workflow linkage and with on premise file servers as primary content sources, enabling indexed retrieval within existing document handling processes.
Work began around November 2023 and the service entered operational service in March 2024, enabling phased rollover to the new search and management layer across group banks. Governance controls were applied to enforce access controlled search and document visibility, aligning search privileges with finance document handling policies and group level document management rules.
As an explicit operational outcome the deployment enabled decommissioning of an underused document management system, improved retrieval of attachments including ZIPs, and established a more efficient group document management posture for the banking units covered by the rollout.
