In 2013 Furness Building Society selected SBP Mortgage and Savings Suite (MSS) from SBS (ex-Sopra Banking Software) as its core platform, implementing the SBP Mortgage and Savings Suite (MSS) to provide a single front-to-back solution across mortgage and savings operations. The deployment targeted the United Kingdom market and prioritized faster product development and improved online sales channels.
The program included deployment of Sopra's Front Office Portal for internet sales and servicing, explicitly addressing retail origination and customer servicing workflows. SBP Mortgage and Savings Suite (MSS) consolidated Loan Management functions including product configuration, application intake, servicing orchestration and online sales channel handling, aligning platform capabilities with mortgage origination and savings product management.
Rollout was scheduled to go live in early 2014 and centered on integrating internet sales into a single front-to-back processing stream, with governance focused on product rollout cadence and servicing adoption. Furness Building Society positioned the SBP Mortgage and Savings Suite (MSS) to accelerate product development and improve online sales and servicing across its mortgage and savings business functions.
