In 2015, GalvanoTechnik deployed Sisthema Panthera ERP - Quality Management to consolidate production and quality workflows across its four operational units in Gardone Valtrompia. The implementation targeted a mid-sized manufacturing footprint of 67 employees, supporting heat treatments, surface treatments, thermochemical diffusion, and PVD/PECVD coating lines, and aligned with the company ISO 9001:2000 certification requirements. The deployment emphasized a single data model to support the full order lifecycle from quotation through order processing, production, delivery, and invoicing.
The project leveraged the Quality Management capabilities of Sisthema Panthera ERP - Quality Management to centralize quality control, certification workflows, and production cost accounting. Functional modules implemented included quotation-to-cash order management, production scheduling visibility, production cost calculation, subcontracted work management, and quality inspection and certification tracking. The solution delivered a graphical user interface with integrated Office tool interoperability to support usability and administrative productivity.
Integrations were limited to the documented Office integration and a web-based access layer, the latter providing access profiling that enables customer self-service access to order and production data via the Internet. Operational coverage extended across sales, production, quality assurance, supplier and quote management, and invoicing, providing a unified single-database view for cross-departmental data access.
Governance and workflow restructuring focused on standardizing certification and quality control procedures and introducing centralized tracking of costs and production progress. Reported outcomes from the Panthera installation included improved response times through consolidated data, simplified and accelerated certification and quality control processes, greater management control over processes, and reduced relationship costs for the sales department enabled by web access and access profiling.
