In 2023, Gateway Baseball implemented the Ordr.io Platform Payment Processing solution to enable mobile ordering, in seat delivery, and integrated payment processing for fans at Arsenal BG Ballpark. The deployment launched fan facing mobile ordering and checkout workflows to reduce queuing and improve fan experience. The implementation was positioned to boost concession and merchandise sales by enabling mobile purchases tied to in seat fulfillment.
Configuration of the Ordr.io Platform focused on three functional areas, mobile ordering interfaces, payment capture and processing, and in seat delivery orchestration. Capabilities implemented included mobile checkout and checkout workflows, integrated payment processing for card acceptance, and order routing with fulfillment status updates for delivery staff. The platform centralized payment flows and order lifecycle management to support real time order fulfillment in the ballpark environment.
Operational scope was Arsenal BG Ballpark, covering concessions, merchandise points of sale and ballpark service staff responsible for in seat delivery. Governance and process changes included new frontline workflows for order staging and delivery assignment, and consolidated payment and order management through the Ordr.io Platform. The solution enabled the ballpark to accept seamless mobile payments and fulfill in seat deliveries, with the stated goal of improving fan experience and reducing queueing.
