Acumatica Legacy Acumatica ERP Cloud Construction Edition Construction ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, George T. Hall Company implemented Acumatica ERP Cloud Construction Edition. The cloud-hosted rollout went live on October 1, 2020, after a planned system cutover that required office closure at 4:00pm on September 30, 2020 to prepare for the migration, and employees were notified of potential short-term interruptions to customer and vendor service. The implementation delivered a Construction Accounting Software solution centered on Acumatica ERP Cloud Construction Edition with core modules for construction project accounting and financials, procurement and purchase order processing, inventory and distribution controls, and manufacturing work order processing aligned to the companys production operations. Document and form configuration was a visible part of the project, with new invoice, purchase order, and quotation templates introduced for external communications. Operational coverage extended across finance, purchasing, sales and shop floor functions for the 45-employee manufacturing firm, with cloud delivery enabling centralized access for internal users and external document exchange with customers and vendors. Integrations were focused on external document formats and vendor/customer communications channels, supporting the exchange of the newly formatted invoices, purchase orders, and quotations. Governance and rollout followed a scheduled cutover approach with internal communications urging distribution of the announcement to relevant personnel, and the organization acknowledged possible interruptions while teams adapted to new processes. Company communications stated the intent to transform operations to maximize efficiencies and improve the experience for customers and vendors, and sample documents were provided to stakeholders to ease the transition.
