Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite - Enterprise Asset Management Enterprise Asset Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Global Advanced Metals implemented Oracle E-Business Suite - Enterprise Asset Management as part of a broader Oracle E-Business Suite deployment. The rollout began in January 2016 at the Philadelphia, PA manufacturing site and targeted asset-intensive production and processing operations for tantalum, tin, and niobium. The implementation included Oracle Enterprise Asset Management as the core Enterprise Asset Management application, and was delivered alongside Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning/ Demandtra, Oracle Manufacturing Execution Systems, OPM Financials, Oracle Distribution for Purchasing and Inventory, and Oracle Manufacturing Applications covering OPM and discrete manufacturing. Configuration work focused on EAM capabilities such as asset master data, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and integration points into manufacturing and inventory transaction flows. Operational integration tied Oracle E-Business Suite - Enterprise Asset Management to manufacturing execution and planning modules, enabling synchronized maintenance windows with production schedules and inventory reservations. The deployment affected business functions including maintenance engineering, plant operations, procurement, inventory management, and finance at the Philadelphia site, aligning asset lifecycle processes with supply chain and financial ledgers. Project governance established centralized asset master governance and maintenance workflow standards to support consistent work order processing and plant-level execution. The program approach emphasized cross-module process alignment within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment, with configuration and data governance scoped to the Philadelphia manufacturing operation.
