The program emphasized connectivity and operational coverage, with requirements for fast and seamless integration with third-party businesses and supply chain partners to support merchandising and stock availability. Operational scope included point-of-sale and head office workflows, inventory replenishment and distribution processes, and role-based access for sales, store operations and corporate finance teams to ensure consistent transaction flows across channels.
Governance was structured around a cloud managed service relationship with the vendor Pronto Software, removing the need for new on-premises hardware and in-house database and operating system management.
