In 2019 Godrej Capital implemented Cavintek Cflow, a Business Process Management application, to automate purchase order and invoice approval workflows across its India operations. The deployment targeted core finance workflows and partner onboarding to reduce manual touchpoints and approval delays, aligning process control with the organization’s Banking and Financial Services operating model and staff base of roughly 800 employees.
The implementation used Cavintek Cflow modules for PO and invoice approvals and partner onboarding, leveraging configurable workflow orchestration, role based approval routing, automated notifications, and audit trails to enforce approval thresholds and multi level sign offs. Forms and conditional routing were configured to reflect procurement and accounts payable business rules, with an emphasis on process traceability and auditability rather than heavy technical customization.
Operational coverage included finance and vendor management teams across India, with governance designed around standardized workflows, designated process owners, and clear escalation paths to address stalled approvals. Rollout and process governance centered on embedding the Cavintek Cflow approval workflows into existing finance and onboarding operating procedures to create a single source of approval truth.
According to the vendor case study Cavintek Cflow resulted in faster approvals, clearer process tracking, improved finance process efficiency, and reduced bottlenecks in PO and invoice processing across their Indian operations.
