In 2021 GoldenGas implemented Apra Essenzia ERP as a sector-specific deployment to digitize field operations and core financial processes. Apra Essenzia ERP, categorized as ERP Financial, was introduced to modernize order handling, invoicing, and operational reporting across the group of companies active in LPG distribution and fuel sales.
The implementation leveraged the i gas verticalization of the Apra Var Group platform, configuring modules for order acquisition to delivery, invoicing and electronic invoice dispatch, delivery document printing from the vehicle, performance analysis, and management of regeneration and scrapping processes for tanks and valves. The solution also incorporated workflow controls for opening and closing delivery valves and support for periodic maintenance checks, reflecting configuration aligned to gas and fuel sector requirements.
Deployment architecture combined the Apra Essenzia ERP application with Getac F110 fully rugged tablets running Windows 11, installed in delivery vehicles with vehicle docking stations and in vehicle power supplies. The tablets include dual serial ports for on site printer use and fuel metering, an 11.6 inch display specified for wide temperature ranges and direct sunlight readability, and a hardware and service ecosystem including an extended warranty. Data entered by operators is transmitted in real time to the company management system, enabling headquarters to monitor deliveries and verify transcribed unloading and payment details.
Governance and operational change focused on standardizing and streamlining operator activities to reduce manual transcription errors and accelerate compliance with regulatory requirements. The project standardized mobile data capture for operators responsible for deliveries, enabled electronic invoicing and lawful delivery documentation at point of service, and centralized monitoring of field activities through the Apra Essenzia ERP deployment and its integration with vehicle mounted hardware.

In 2021, GoldenGas implemented Apra i-gas as an Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP to modernize field operations and enable real-time capture of delivery and payment data for LPG distribution. The initiative focused on upgrading operator terminals across the delivery fleet and embedding the Apra i-gas solution within the company’s existing Essenzia management software verticalization for the gas and fuel sector.
The implementation delivered functional modules for end-to-end order workflows, including order acquisition, delivery execution, real-time delivery recording, electronic invoicing, delivery document printing, payment capture and reconciliation, customer account and insolvency checks, and performance analysis. Apra i-gas also includes sector-specific capabilities to track regeneration and scrapping processes and to manage periodic checks and maintenance of valves and tanks, aligning operational controls with regulatory requirements.
Deployment architecture combined software and rugged hardware, operators using Getac F110 fully rugged tablets running the application and installed in the vehicle cabin on dedicated docking stations. The vehicle docking solution provides secure mounting, dual serial ports for on-site printer and fuel metering connections, in-vehicle power supply for continuous charging, and an extended warranty, enabling the tablet-hosted Apra i-gas application to act as the primary human machine interface for delivery and metering operations.
Apra Var Group and Getac collaborated on the rollout, and i-gas was configured to be natively integrated and connected to all data in GoldenGas’s management system so operator-entered data transcribes to company systems in real time. The program standardized and streamlined operators’ activities, removed manual transcription steps that introduced errors, enabled immediate issuance of electronic invoices and legally required delivery documents from the vehicle, and supported faster compliance with evolving safety and management control requirements.
