| Infor | Legacy | Infor Global HR | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2007 | 2018 | In 2007 Good Samaritan Hospital implemented Infor Global HR, a Core HR application, to centralize employee master data and formalize human resources operations across a 3,200 employee healthcare organization. The deployment positioned Infor Global HR as the primary system for core HR functions including employee records, benefits administration, compensation actions, and compliance reporting. Configuration work focused on Core HR capabilities such as automated change in employment status processing, mass actions for across-the-board increases, end-of-year benefits re-enrollment workflows, and termination processing including final paycheck and PTO payout coordination. Infor Global HR was configured to generate payout statistics, salary projection and cost impact reports for union and non-union groups, benefit census outputs, and the compliance reports used for EEOC-1 and HASC survey submissions. The implementation consolidated functions previously maintained in the HRIS Lawson system and integrated operational touchpoints with the IMTS timecard database, payroll coordination channels, and external COBRA processing by sending COBRA notification forms to Zenith for handling. Reporting and data exchange workflows were designed to ensure validity and accuracy of records across Infor Global HR, the IMTS timecard system, payroll processes, and the compliance reporting pipeline. Operational governance included centralized maintenance and enhancement of HRIS applications, a single-team responsibility model for data integrity and reporting, and manager notification workflows to remediate out-of-compliance employees. Routine tasks covered creation and analysis of compliance and turnover metrics, timely input of Change in Employment Status forms, and producing the HR metrics required for quarterly turnover and regulatory filings. | |
