Aptean Legacy Aptean Compiere ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, GRAF Industries implemented Aptean Compiere ERP as its core ERP Financial system to establish a relational enterprise platform for finance and multiarea operations. The deployment used Aptean Compiere ERP localized on an Oracle database and was provisioned for roughly 60 users across four distinct business areas with differing process requirements. Configuration and modules focused on financial accounting, controllership, analytical accounting, directional reporting and business intelligence functions, with explicit work on accounting configuration and cost control routines. The project included extensive customization and programming, data migration, user training and a staged rollout of post‑go‑live integrations and extensions. Operational integrations consolidated a range of in‑house applications that had been developed to address prior functional gaps, bringing transactional financial flows and reporting into the Aptean Compiere ERP instance. The scope covered cross functional workflows used by finance and administrative teams across the companys business areas. Governance was driven by an internal ERP Project Manager and business analysts who led partner selection activities, system configuration, customization, data migration and user enablement, and who subsequently developed portions of the integration work directly. The implementation introduced analytical accounting capabilities that had not been present previously, centralizing cost accounting and directional reporting within the ERP Financial environment.
