In 2012, Granngarden implemented Timegrip Time Tracking as a Time and Attendance solution across its Swedish retail estate. The deployment targeted store level time tracking and scheduling across approximately 111 stores, establishing centralized time capture and roster management to support HR and payroll accuracy in Sweden.
The implementation emphasizes the scheduling and time tracking modules, configured for store rosters, shift templates, employee clock in and timesheet capture, and manager approval workflows. Timegrip Time Tracking was set up to enforce scheduling rules and produce auditable time records for payroll validation, aligning with retail shift patterns and standard Time and Attendance operational terminology.
Operational coverage spans store managers and HR and payroll functions across Granngarden’s store network, with store level administrators using the application for roster edits and exception handling. The deployment positions Timegrip Time Tracking at the time capture and scheduling layer of the technology stack, delivering standardized time data to downstream HR and payroll processes.
Governance activity continued with workshops published January 2025 that focused on adoption and training to reduce payroll exceptions and improve store level, data driven insights. Those workshops reflect ongoing user enablement and operational governance aimed at tightening time entry discipline and increasing analytic use of Timegrip Time Tracking across the retail network.
