Sage Legacy Sage 200 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2017 2018
In 2017, Greyhound Recycling implemented Sage 200 as its ERP Financial platform. The implementation supported finance operations for a 350 employee organization headquartered in Ireland, covering a group structure of up to eight companies, with two group entities reporting annual turnover of €10m and an overall company revenue of €65,000,000. Sage 200 was configured to manage core financial workflows including accounts payable processing with weekly supplier payment runs and bank payment file generation, cash management, and management reporting. The finance team designed Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports on Sage 200 and used the system to prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis for two companies within the group. Reconciliation capabilities were applied to intercompany trading, contra and loan accounts across the eight group companies. Operational integrations and coverage included generation of money transfer files on Sage 200 that were imported onto Ulster Bank online to execute payments, and banking duties encompassed submissions of payroll files alongside cash management routines. The system produced audit-ready outputs used to prepare year end audit files and to liaise with external auditors, while VAT, RCT and PAYE tax submissions were coordinated from the Sage 200 financial data for timely filing with Revenue. Responsibility for these processes flowed through the central finance function and the group financial controller. Governance and process changes focused on establishing sole ownership of indirect tax and payroll compliance, implementing internal controls, and instituting budget and cashflow planning cycles. The implementation included project work to review a mid year transition from Sage 50 to Sage 200 and to align reporting and control frameworks for quarterly reforecasting and variance analysis submitted to the group financial controller.

Time Point Legacy Time Point Workforce Management Workforce Management HCM n/a 2017 2018
In 2017 Greyhound Recycling implemented Time Point Workforce Management to centralize scheduling, time capture, and absence management across its Ireland operations. The deployment was sized for a 350-employee professional services organization in the waste and recycling sector and aligned with core Workforce Management requirements for rostering, compliance and frontline timekeeping. The implementation of Time Point Workforce Management encompassed standard functional modules including shift scheduling and rostering, time and attendance capture, absence and leave management, mobile clocking for field staff, and supervisor approval workflows. Configuration work focused on rule-based rostering, shift swap controls, overtime and premium rules and roster visibility for operations and HR users. Integrations were implemented at the interfaces level to exchange payroll and HR data, enabling exportable time records and roster summaries for downstream payroll processing and personnel records. Operational coverage emphasized frontline drivers, depot and office personnel in Ireland, with role-based access controls and mobile access configured to support distributed crews and supervisor approvals. Governance changes included the establishment of time-approval chains, roster publication cadences and procedural updates for absence requests and shift changes, supported by application-level audit trails. Training and phased adoption were used to operationalize roster management and time approvals across functional groups.
