In 2022 Groupe Media TFO Canada implemented VimBiz Scheduling, deploying a Canada-based Collaboration application announced in December 2022. The deployment targeted broadcast operations and was intended to centralize schedule orchestration and resource planning across production teams.
VimBiz Scheduling was configured to support production scheduling, timecards and resource planning, aligning with Collaboration category capabilities for schedule creation, workforce allocation and time capture. VimBiz Scheduling was used to structure schedule templates, assign crews and capture timecard data to support production workflows and payroll handoffs.
The initiative replaced ScheduALL and focused operational coverage on production, scheduling and payroll functions across the broadcaster's Canadian operations. Governance emphasis was placed on aligning scheduling workflows with payroll processes to improve scheduling efficiency and payroll timecard accuracy as stated in the December 2022 announcement.
