Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, GRP Impact Positive implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The deployment targeted ERP Financial functions supporting production operations, inventory control, purchasing and HR adjacent workflows at the Port Klang production site. Configuration centered on inventory ledger controls and production processing, where clerks keyed process card inputs for raw material, packaging and finished goods into Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with barcode and sticker printing for cartons. The environment included purchase requisition workflows initiated by production users and routed to purchasing, time and attendance capture for daily presence and OT recording, and month end data pulls submitted to the accounts department. Operational data capture was performed by a production clerk based at Port Klang from March 2012 onward, who updated worker attendance daily, recorded OT and submitted OT to HR on a half month and end month cadence, keyed process card inputs and double checked entries against logistic book records before entry, maintained second yield reports in Excel for the production manager, and completed filing of documentation after NAV transactions. Stock count activities were entered into the system and used to support month end reporting. No system integrator is recorded and no third party integrations are documented in the source notes, therefore workflows relied on Microsoft Dynamics NAV transaction entry, Excel reporting and manual reconciliation between production, logistics, purchasing and accounting. Microsoft Dynamics NAV operated as the ERP Financial system of record for production and inventory transaction capture, purchase requisitions, barcode labeling and month end reporting processes.
