| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Digital Assistant | Chatbots and Conversational AI | AI-Powered Application | n/a | 2024 | 2024 | In 2024, Grupo Globo implemented Oracle Digital Assistant. Grupo Globo deployed Oracle Digital Assistant in the Chatbots and Conversational AI category to support its consolidated operations across five companies, aligned with existing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM instances, and to address finance, administrative, and HR business functions. The implementation focused on conversational modules typical of Chatbots and Conversational AI, including natural language understanding, intent and entity models, dialog flow orchestration, and task automation for HR self service and administrative inquiries. Oracle Digital Assistant was configured with reusable skill sets to standardize common interactions such as payroll inquiries, expense status checks, and routine administrative requests, while preserving the ability to add company-specific skills for each legal entity. Architecturally the deployment was cloud native and integrated into Globo's broader Oracle cloud footprint, with a centralized conversational model repository, version control for dialog flows, and telemetry for conversation analytics. The Oracle Digital Assistant environment was provisioned to support multi channel access and seamless handoff to human agents where workflows exceed automated capabilities, and was designed to coexist with identity and access controls already in place for Fusion Cloud services. Governance centered on a centralized operations model to manage intents, training data, and release cadence across the five consolidated companies, with operational ownership aligned to finance and HR process owners. Rollout was staged to enable iterative skill expansion and localized language tuning for Brazilian Portuguese usage, with dedicated workflow for ongoing intent refinement and model retraining managed by inhouse process teams. |
