In 2013 Grupo Norte implemented Kyriba Treasury as part of its Treasury Management capability within the financial department. Kyriba Treasury was introduced as a treasury ERP to centralize cash management and banking communications across multiple companies in the group.
The deployment covered core treasury modules including cash reconciliation, collections and payments processing, financing management, and management reporting. In 2014 the implementation was extended to add cash pooling control and an opportunity risk client approval workflow, reflecting configuration of approval rules and centralized pooling controls.
Banking communications were integrated via Editrán to support electronic bank statement exchange and payment file transmission with Spanish banks. Operational ownership resided with Grupo Norte's treasury team, coordinated by a treasury technician who led a three person implementation team and retained day to day bank relationship and treasury operations responsibilities.
The Kyriba Treasury installation served several group companies, aligning multientity treasury accountability, reporting to management, and daily bank dealings under a single Treasury Management application. Governance changes emphasized automated approval workflows and centralized cash pooling oversight, positioning the financial department to operate Kyriba Treasury for consolidated cash visibility and control.
