The deployment aimed to create a single version of the truth for product information and to streamline the end to end product lifecycle from concept through packaging and launch. Centric PLM was configured to support product and packaging workflows, including packaging and labelling briefs, sourcing packaging items, compliant labelling information, artwork proofing and milestone tracking. The implementation leverages Centric PLM capabilities for collaboration, documentation control and project milestone visibility to reduce manual searching and improve cross functional coordination. The rollout leveraged HORSA as the PLM integration partner and was applied across 10 departments spanning six spirit brands and six food brands, with active user groups in Innovation, R&D, Finance, Packaging and Quality. Operational coverage aligns with Gruppo Montenegro manufacturing footprint of three primary plants and two secondary plants in Italy and the companys distribution across more than 70 markets in North America and Europe. Governance and process changes focused on shared project milestones and centralized documentation, enabling clearer handoffs between teams and improved data security and documentation consistency. Early outcomes reported by the company include improved coordination and collaboration and initial improvements in innovation and coordination across product and packaging processes, positioning Centric PLM as the foundational Product Lifecycle Management system for the groups planned product and category expansion. |
