Telefonica Legacy SENECA Emergency Suite Communication Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Direccion General De La Guardia Civil Spain implemented Telefonica's SENECA Emergency Suite Communication in its 062 call centre in Valencia. The deployment focused on emergency-communications and public-safety workflows under the Collaboration category, providing a unified intake and incident management interface for frontline operators. SENECA Emergency Suite Communication was configured to tipify incoming calls, automatically open incident files and maintain persistent case records, enabling structured call triage and end to end incident lifecycle tracking. Configuration emphasized standardized classification taxonomies, template driven incident creation and automated status updates to improve operator consistency and reduce manual case handling. Deployment scope covered the Guardia Civil 062 emergency call centre in Valencia and impacted emergency response, operations and case management functions at that site. The implementation centralized call discrimination and case documentation within the Telefónica SENECA operational stack, aligning intake workflows with on duty dispatch procedures. Operational governance introduced standardized call classification procedures and case tracking workflows to support faster handover to response units. After the Séneca rollout the Valencia centre reported improved call discrimination and more consistent case management, and the system enabled quicker initiation of incident handling processes.
