Focus Softnet Legacy Focus RT ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2007 2007
In 2007 Gulf Craft upgraded to Focus RT, deploying the Focus RT ERP Financial system across its UAE shipyards. The implementation extended Gulf Craft's earlier use of Focus products and targeted improvements in manufacturing throughput, quality control and inventory visibility. The deployment configured manufacturing, inventory management and quality management modules within Focus RT, instrumenting shop floor processes to provide more real-time production data. Integrations included barcode scanning for inventory and production tracking and biometric systems for workforce attendance and shop floor authorization, enabling point-of-activity data capture and tighter traceability of materials and work orders. Rollout was phased across Gulf Craft's UAE shipyards with coordinated changes to operational workflows, standardized master data and governance between operations and IT to support shop floor data flows. Gulf Craft later moved from Focus RT to Focus i as part of product evolution, and the Focus RT implementation delivered improved manufacturing visibility, stronger quality control processes and enhanced inventory visibility through more timely production data capture.
