In 2022 Hagerty UK implemented Verisk Sequel Ignite as its Insurance Policy Administration platform to create an end to end online sales and policy administration journey for classic and enthusiast vehicles. The implementation was developed for the United Kingdom market and the solution was publicly launched in January 2023.
The deployment of Verisk Sequel Ignite addressed core Insurance Policy Administration workflows including quote and buy capabilities, online policy issuance, and customer self service for policy administration and e commerce. Configuration focused on streamlining the digital purchase flow and embedding policy lifecycle management functionality consistent with Insurance Policy Administration systems.
Integrations explicitly implemented include a DVLA integration to verify vehicle data as part of the quote and buy flow and to support policy administration accuracy. Operational coverage centered on Hagerty UK retail sales and customer service channels for classic vehicle insurance, aligning the Verisk Sequel Ignite application with front end e commerce and customer portal touchpoints.
Hagerty worked directly with the Verisk Sequel Ignite team to co develop the end to end journey, coordinating design and rollout to deliver a streamlined digital purchase and policy management experience. The program emphasized process alignment between sales, underwriting and customer service teams, and produced a publicly available online sales journey for the UK classic car segment.
