The program brings Harz Energie Netz together with OsthessenNetz and WEMAG Netz to deploy a common grid control capability across three independent municipal and regional network operators. The implementation is scoped as a shared, high performance multi utility grid control system focused on intelligent grid management, provision of system services, and reinforcement of supply security for electricity natural gas and water networks. PSIprins will serve as the operational core for grid state supervision, coordinated control room workflows, and harmonized grid management guidelines developed from a prior concept study. Deployment architecture calls for three technically identical control centers in Osterode Fulda and Schwerin as the first major milestone, with system start up planned for 2028. Establishing identical control center configurations enables unified operational procedures and consistent control room instrumentation across geographically distant sites, and represents the first time three separate operators will rely on a common control system platform. Governance for the rollout is structured around close cooperation in selection implementation and ongoing joint grid management, with participating companies pooling expertise and aligning on harmonized grid management guidelines. PSIprins was selected after an intensive selection process and the project is organized in phased implementation stages to support coordinated commissioning of the three control centers.
