| Perkbox | Legacy | Perkbox Platform | Employee Recognition and Rewards Management | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Hertz Australia implemented the Perkbox Platform to centralize employee engagement, recognition, and benefits under an Employee Recognition and Rewards Management solution across its Australia and New Zealand operations. The deployment focused on HR administrative ownership, supporting wellbeing initiatives, the APAC service award program, and day to day rewards and recognition activities for a workforce of approximately 1500 employees.
The Perkbox Platform was configured to deliver core employee recognition and rewards capabilities, including configurable recognition workflows, service award tracking, reward distribution and administration, and wellbeing program coordination. Configuration emphasized administrative controls and nomination and approval processes that HR used to manage award lifecycles and schedule regional service milestones.
Operationally the Perkbox Platform is administered alongside Hertz Australia HRIS and payroll activities, with HR staff using Perkbox to support payroll processes, maintain accurate employee benefit records, and cascade probation and leave reporting into regular HR metrics. HR administration tasks include program enrollment, auditing of awards and benefits, and using Perkbox data to inform routine HR reporting and communications.
Governance and process changes centered on formalizing the APAC service award program and instituting periodic audits of HR systems, awards and processes, with the Human Resource Administrative Assistant providing day to day administration, reporting and internal communications support. The implementation positions the Perkbox Platform as the primary Employee Recognition and Rewards Management tool for Hertz Australia, coordinated through HR operational workflows and reporting procedures.

| Thermeon | Legacy | Thermeon CARS+ | Automotive ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014 Hertz Australia implemented Thermeon CARS+, an Automotive ERP deployed to centralize rental finance and accounts workflows. The deployment targeted corporate finance and branch accounting, consolidating accounts receivable, income capture and reconciliation across nine properties and Australia wide reservation feeds.
Thermeon CARS+ was configured to support core accounts receivable functionality, income reconciliation, payment allocation, revenue journal preparation, corporate invoicing and corporate statement generation. Implemented capabilities included reservation to accounting reconciliation, intercompany transfers and adjustments, rebates handling, and vehicle asset register management to track revenues, sold cars and retired cars status. The configuration supported mid tier corporate tax invoice generation and scheduled fortnightly and on demand corporate statement production.
Integration work included GL allocation from the Australia wide CARS+ system into Microsoft Dynamics GP for general ledger postings, along with banking interfaces for payment allocation and account reconciliation. Operational coverage extended to nine branches in Western Australia for daily income reconciliation and close coordination between branch finance teams and head office. Key finance roles using the system included an Accounts Receivable Officer reporting to the CFO and collaborating with the Management Accountant on journals, postings and income reconciliation.
Governance and operational cadence were defined around daily income reconciliation across reservation and accounting systems, routine preparation of revenue journals, and reconciliation of intercompany transfers, rebates and adjustments. The accounts receivable process generated about 120 corporate tax invoices weekly, produced corporate statements fortnightly and on demand, and managed debtor accounts with the stated objective to reduce DSO and maintain accounts in a current state. Thermeon CARS+ served as the central Automotive ERP for Hertz Australia finance operations, instrumenting AR, billing and vehicle register controls.
