| Constellation Software Inc. | Legacy | CSI C-Systems | Dealership Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2017 | In 2016, Hill Country Outdoor Power deployed CSI C-Systems within its Dealership Management environment to centralize invoice processing, payables and goods receiving. CSI C-Systems served as the primary accounting application used by the companys accounting staff to manage AP workflows and physical goods receipt logging. The implementation focused on functional modules for accounts payable entry, checkbook register maintenance, payment processing and receiving record capture. Staff responsibilities documented during the deployment included collecting invoices via mail and email, inputting invoice information to CSI C-Systems, entering whole goods receiving information into CSI C-Systems, and maintaining the checkbook register on the payable date. Operational connections were defined to support payment execution and cash handling, including processing payments via check, credit card or ACH, preparing daily bank deposits, and applying for vendor rebates through vendor rebate websites. The rollout integrated manual storefront and back-office receipt processes with the accounting application, and operational coverage centered on the accounting department and daily banking interactions. Governance for the CSI C-Systems deployment emphasized transaction-level posting discipline and routine operational tasks, notably daily deposit preparation, payable-date posting into the checkbook register, payment processing workflows, and periodic physical tasks such as weekly trips to the bank and post office performed by Accounting staff. |
