Our database provides customer insight and contextual information on which enterprise applications and software systems HMS is running and its propensity to invest more and deepen its relationship with Oracle , SAP , ADP or identify new suppliers as part of their overall Digital and IT transformation projects to stay competitive, fend off threats from disruptive forces, or comply with internal mandates to improve overall enterprise efficiency.
We have been analyzing HMS revenues, which have grown to $598.0 million in 2024, plus its IT budget and roadmap, cloud software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions for HMS intention to invest in emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database or in cloud-based ERP, HCM, CRM, EPM, Procurement or Treasury applications.

In 2015, HMS migrated Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, an ERP Financial application, to a Microsoft Azure environment. The engagement was led by a lead project manager who coordinated technical replatforming and functional stabilization across HMS finance and IT teams.
The implementation centered on core financial functionality within Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and fixed assets, configured to support professional services accounting workflows. Configuration work emphasized chart of accounts harmonization, period close automation and role based security to align PeopleSoft financial processes with HMS operational requirements.
Deployment architecture involved rehosting the application and database tiers on Microsoft Azure, preserving a multi tier application topology with virtualized compute and segregated data storage to meet operational availability and manageability goals. The migration included environment provisioning, scripted application builds and configuration migration to replicate on premise operational processes within the Azure environment.
Program governance was centralized under the project management office, with cross functional change control involving finance, IT and operations to manage cutover and post migration stabilization. The lead PM produced migration runbooks, rollback criteria and an operational handover package for HMS IT to assume ongoing management of Oracle PeopleSoft ERP.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle PeopleSoft HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, HMS implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM to consolidate Core HR functions for its United States professional services workforce. The deployment positioned Oracle PeopleSoft HCM as the primary HR system supporting HR, Talent Acquisition, and Compliance teams across the company.
The implementation focused on Core HR modules and compliance capabilities, including configuration for compliance support and auditing and explicit handling of Form I-9 law proficiency. Recruiter support workflows were configured to manage offer management, pre-employment screening, and on-boarding, and reporting was implemented using Oracle PeopleSoft reporting capabilities to surface HR and compliance data.
Applicant tracking was retained using Taleo and integrated into candidate intake and onboarding workflows with PeopleSoft, enabling data handoff between Taleo applicant tracking and Oracle PeopleSoft HCM for hire-to-onboard processing. Operational scope included HR operations, recruiting, and compliance functions within the United States, with the application serving as the authoritative Core HR record.
Governance changes emphasized audit trails and process controls for compliance and on-boarding, with workflow orchestration adjusted to align recruiter activities, screening checks, and Form I-9 verification inside PeopleSoft. The configuration prioritized traceability for audits and standardized recruiter and HR processes without referencing any implementation partner.

In 2015, HMS deployed MicroStrategy ONE Analytics as its enterprise Analytics and BI platform to centralize reporting and dashboard delivery. The MicroStrategy ONE Analytics implementation established a semantic layer for metadata modeling, supported scheduled reporting and interactive dashboards, and enabled ad hoc analysis capabilities for business users.
The rollout relied heavily on Teradata SQL Assistant to test and debug MicroStrategy reports, using SQL-level reconciliation and row level validation against Teradata data sources as a mandatory step in report QA. Teradata SQL Assistant was used to validate report SQL, verify aggregations and isolate data anomalies before reports were published in MicroStrategy ONE Analytics.
Operationally the deployment targeted enterprise reporting workflows across HMS, aligning analytics production with centralized BI governance and a validation workflow that routed reports through Teradata verification prior to production promotion. Configuration work centered on MicroStrategy ONE Analytics metadata design and report development standards, with governance processes focused on semantic consistency and report level testing rather than source system changes.
