In 2018, Holmer Maschinenbau Germany implemented Bosch IoT Suite as its IoT Platform to build EasyHelp 4.0, a remote diagnosis and maintenance service for agricultural machinery. Holmer used Bosch IoT Suite to collect machine telemetry and to deliver operational visibility to field service teams.
The implementation used Bosch IoT Remote Manager for device connectivity and Bosch IoT Insights for data storage and dashboards, enabling device lifecycle management, secure telemetry ingestion, and time series visualization. Bosch IoT Suite functioned as a cloud-hosted orchestration layer for connectivity, ingestion, storage and dashboarding, aligning with IoT Platform workflows for device provisioning, monitoring and analytics.
Operationally the deployment supported Holmer service teams across Central Europe and was embedded into maintenance and remote diagnosis workflows to accelerate troubleshooting. According to the Bosch case study, the EasyHelp 4.0 service reduced downtime and sped repairs.
