In 2014 Hotela.ch implemented Bonita Process Mining in the Process Mining category to reconfigure customer event monitoring and workflow orchestration across its insurance operations. Architecturally the solution connected the customer extranet to the internal event management workflows, enabling event creation on customer access and continuous monitoring through Bonita Process Mining process models and orchestration logic.
Governance changes included creating a dedicated Event Management organization, retraining and coordinating 200 staff around event-centric workflows, and replacing insurance-product forms with life-event concepts to simplify intake and case handling. Results explicitly reported by Hotela.ch include a 30% reduction in document volume, time spent on client administrative management reduced by 30% to 60%, and a 300% increase in the effectiveness of the existing team, demonstrating measurable operational impact tied directly to the Bonita Process Mining implementation.
